  September 18, 2001 had arrived. It was around 5:00 P.M. when I left from work headed toward my house. When I got home, I began to get ready for the next stage of Travel, in my Journey...
I arrived at Cherrydale Lodge around 7:00 P.M. and socialized with everyone, prior to the ceremony. It was an exciting night for myself and I assume for everyone else, whom attended and participated. There was no talk of the tragic day our country has suffered on September 11th, but everyone seemed to be in high spirits. This was necessary for everyone's well-being, considering the Pentagon was just a couple of miles away and some of the Brethren are employed there. The weather outside was extremely nice. It was not too hot, not too cold, and not much humidity.
As 7:30 P.M. came around, that excited feeling came over me. I was nervous, but not nearly as much as when I received my EA Degree. There were two other gentlemen receiving their FC Degrees at the same time as myself, as well; Bro. John Stone and Bro. John Hall. Our Lodge put on a triple Fellow Craft ceremony. That is where we all receive our Degree at the same time. The ceremony was yet another great experience and highly enlightening.
I think everyone had a great time. Everyone socialized and fellowshipped after the ceremony. I met many new and interesting faces, as well. Everybody I have met, at the meetings, has been great, including the Brethren from the other Lodges. I am also scheduled to receive my Master Mason Degree (3rd) on October 17, 2001. That is the "final" Degree in the Blue Lodge...
